AutoCAD Levels and Topics

AutoCAD instruction is broadly divided into three sections or levels – Level I (Beginner to Intermediate), Level II (Intermediate to Advanced) and Level III (3D). Within these general levels are sets of topics, shown below in the order they are typically presented in an extended classroom setting, and sometimes in a “boot camp”. Certain topics can be omitted and the order can be shuffled somewhat (more so in Level II & III than Level I). To take on 3D classwork, it is highly recommended that the clients/students first become proficient in all or most of the 2D topics. For custom-designed “boot camp” classes the topics selections are dictated by specific client need and may vary widely.
