Vertical Technologies AutoCAD Training

Up and Running with AutoCAD 2018

The ninth publication of the Up and Running series, released in August of 2017,
has a new formatting approach. It is now a 2D-only textbook, but with the 3D
component (Level III – Chapters 21-30) available online for free download. This
will allow for expansion of the 2D chapters and a potential to lower the selling
price of the book going forward.

The 3D chapters, which were found to be rarely taught at the tech-school level
(instructors instead opted to teach 3D via Revit or SolidWorks), are still available
on this website’s Access Textbook 3D Chapters page or at The 2018
textbook (light blue cover) is printed in monochrome, and is available as print
and PDF eBook.

Additionally, a new partner, Robert C. Kaebisch was brought on-board both as a
co-author of the textbook and business partner for Vertical Technologies Training.
